Journeying Together

Holy Island and Lowick C. of E. First Schools are a federation - the children sometimes study together at Lowick, but when the tide rolls in, the Holy Island children and teacher cross over the causeway and work in the school there. Wherever we are though - we're 'Journeying Together'.

Our Aim

We aim to provide an attractive, stimulating and caring learning environment which will nurture the development and potential of every child in our care - enabling them to become effective independent learners who will have a positive and active approach to their future lives in society. We work to develop lively, enquiring minds which have the ability to question, investigate, solve problems and start to form the personal values that will help them make sense of the world in which they live and from positive social relationships. Finally, we aim to enable the children to communicate their feelings and ideas fluently, to be self reliant and able to use their initiative.

Friday 23rd June - Glendale Area Sports Day at Glendale Middle School for Year 3 & 4 children

Friday 7th July - Annual Reports sent out to Parents/Carers

Thursday 13th July - Holy Island Fair and Joint School Sports Day

Thursday 20th July - Summer Production/Leavers' Service - time to be confirmed
